About this product
This is a six pack of BNX TruFilter pleated furnace and air conditioner filters in the nominal 20 by 20 by 1 inch size. The manufacturer lists the actual size as 19.69 by 19.69 by 0.75 inches, a MERV 13 rating, polypropylene media, and states the filters are made in the USA by BNX Converting in Houston, Texas and classified under UL 900. The seller also states they are comparable to MPR 1500 and FPR 10 ratings.
Before you buy, read the size printed on the frame of your current filter and check the depth of your filter slot, since the actual size is smaller than the nominal size. Check your furnace or air handler manual for the highest MERV rating it supports, because a denser filter can restrict airflow on some systems. Follow the change interval in the listing or your manual rather than a fixed rule.
