Prime Big Deal Days 2026 Amazon deals

Prime Big Deal Days is the name Amazon has used for its October shopping event, a second Prime sale that comes a few months after Prime Day in summer. It is a short event: for a limited window Amazon runs a large batch of deals across most of its categories, and many of them end when the event does.

Amazon decides the dates and announces them itself, usually a few weeks ahead. This page does not guess at them. It stays at the same address every year and always shows the Amazon deals that are live when you load it, whether the event is running or not.

Because the event lands in October, it is the first big chance to buy holiday gifts at a discount. Some prices seen during the event come back around Black Friday, and some do not. If an item you want is already at a price you are happy with, there is no rule that says waiting will get you a better one.

Many of the event's headline deals are limited to Prime members. If you are not a member, or not signed in, Amazon shows you the regular price on those items instead of the deal price. Alongside them Amazon usually runs ordinary deals that anyone can buy.

On elite.deals, a card carries a "Prime members only" chip when Amazon's own product data reports that the deal is limited to Prime members. We check that data for every live Amazon deal once an hour. When Amazon reports no restriction, or our check has not run yet, the card has no chip, so look at the price Amazon shows you when you are signed in before you buy.

Prime is a paid membership with its own terms, set by Amazon. We do not sell it.

A percentage off is only as honest as the price it is measured from. Amazon shows a reference price next to a deal, such as a list price or a recent typical price, and the discount on each card here is worked out from that reference. A list price that the product rarely sells at can make an ordinary price look like a big cut.

Three checks help. First, look at what the reference price is called on the Amazon page: a "typical price" is based on what the item has recently sold for, while a manufacturer's list price may never have been charged. Second, compare like with like: the same model, size and pack count. Third, ignore urgency on its own; a countdown tells you when the offer ends, not whether it is good.

Every deal on this page comes from Amazon. We look for new Amazon deals every four hours. Active Amazon deals are then re-checked against Amazon's own product data once an hour; if that check is unavailable, an automated check of the product page runs every 12 hours instead. A deal that no longer meets our bar (at least 10% off) or whose window has closed is taken down, usually within the hour.

Each card shows when its price was last confirmed, as an "as of" time. Amazon can change a price at any moment, so the price in your cart is the one that counts. We do not show the price history of individual products, and we never compare Amazon with other stores.
