For anything going outside, read the material and the manufacturer's care guidance together. Cushions, frames, and finishes each have their own tolerance for sun and rain, and the listing usually notes what needs covering or storing when the season turns.
Kitchen and laundry appliances have requirements your house either meets or does not. Check the voltage, the plug type, and the amperage draw against the outlet you plan to use, and check hose or drain fittings against what is already installed. This information sits in the product specifications and in the manual, and confirming it takes minutes against the cost of a return.
